Doom Metal Darryl I absolutely LOVE this album. The songs are intricate and musicianship is professional. The clean singing is plaintive and vulnerable, and then he switches to those apocalyptic death growl detonations that just destroy. This album is truly satisfying. Favorite track: Unforgiven March.

Morts Incredibly complex, but with a ton of obvious talent behind it this album is easy to enjoy! Strong goth and doom overtones layered within prog metal structures which also contain elements of death metal taking you through many territories along the way. And I love those backing choral harmony effects which float in from time to time! Give this a listen and you'll surely want to hear more!

erico1st They effortlessly combined some of my favourite elements in music, such as doom metal's trademark tempo and negative feel, black metal-esque song structure, classical instruments, and an atmospheric presence, with vocals ranging from clean and operatic to controlled death growling to spoken poetry.

The album was recorded in UK at Priory Recording Studios (Sutton Coldfield) and CMATStudios (Birmingham, UK) and produced by Greg Chandler (vocals and guitars in Esoteric) who also appeared as vocalist at the final track!
